At the beginning of April, the European Commission published the Erasmus+ Programme Guide 2021-2027. Among a lot of other policy changes, it addresses the issue of unsustainable travel. After one year of lobbying, we are happy to see the idea of “green travel”, as the European Commission puts it, included in the programme guide. However, we are not pleased with the approach the European Commission chose to tackle this issue.
